Help! Any suggestions for a 1/2 or 3/4 sized sewing machine?
I need a good, dependable sewing machine that travels rather well. Something that is light-weight and doesn't take up much space. I already have a Full sized Singer that I bought for $100 so the price range that I'm looking for in a portable sewing machine is only up to around $80. I don't need anything professional; just something will all the basics. Any comments would be helpful, Thanks!
You're definitely looking in the used machines then. Don't waste your money on "mini" or "handheld" machines. If they work at all, they never do so for long.

I suspect, though, that you're looking for something like the Janome Gem or Hello Kitty machines.
