Universal dishwasher powercord no black or white wires?
We are trying to install a universal powercord to our new dishwasher. I understand black to black, white to white, green grounded. But the universal power plug only has the green wire marked. The other 2 wires are both grey. Neither one has any identifing factors on the inside or outside as to which wire is which. How do I figure this out? Or does it not matter? I would think if it was that important then the company selling the universal kit for personal installation would have made sure to mark those important features if it was that important. Please help. Thankyou!
One has fine stripes ( ridges )running along it's side...the other doesn't. Use the one with the stripes as your power or black line.
