Most brands of straps made for the acoustic guitar will have a tie for the headstock. That is the typical way to attach the strap on an acoustic guitar.I have a Fender strap with the ties. I have some old 60s-70s straps (look like Ace) that have the ties. So the ties have been used on acoustic straps for a long time.
