Pain flashes from Chest, to Neck, to Jaw, to Ears?
Hi, I was wondering if someone had any idea as to why I am experiencing this pain!!
Every so often, I get a pain that starts in my chest, creeps up to my neck and lower jaw (and sometimes into shoulder blades), then ends in my eardrums. The pain is a type comparable to a really bad ear ache. At first I thought it was gas or something, because it almost feels like a gas bubble or cramp traveling upwards, but I dont think so anymore. Also, the pain has most occurred while I am at rest or sleeping. A few weeks ago I woke up in the middle of the night with it and was just holding my neck and ears because it hurt! ):
Does anyone have any idea what this could be? I am a 19 year old active female with a pretty healthy lifestyle.
Hi Ashley! At first, I was going to ask you to e- mail me with more info , but realized there is no point. When it comes to musculo-skeletal pains, or any pain radiating from the chest, especially while at rest, you need to seek a doctors care. This is not to alarm you, but there are just too many variables that come into play here. You are young, so chances are there is nothing serious going on, but a trip to your doctor is in order as soon as possible. There is just no sense in risking your health by waiting. I know it is scary, and a large part of you does not want to go out of fear, but please do so. You will feel so much better knowing what is really happening to your body. I am sorry that I was not more help to you, but I hope that somehow you have gotten something out of my answer. I wish you all of the luck in the world and feel better soon!
