Can I wheel a double buggy onto a London black cab?
I am visiting London soon with my twins (age 17 months). My only mode of transport will be black cab. Can I wheel the double buggy onto it with the twins in situ? I was told you are allowed to travel central London in a cab with an infant strapped into a buggy but unsure (a) if this was the case and (b) if a double buggy would fit. I am unable to traipse car seats around as well as I will be on my own with the buggy and the twins!
Depends if it is a double buggy with babies side by side - in which case I doubt it will fit through the doors of the cab, or if they are one in front of the other.
You could try to find a number for the London Taxi Cab drivers association or similar organisation, or try finding the Taxi Licensing Office number and ring them.
