Many factors serve to emphasize the uniqueness of a country from its neighboring nations. Perhaps one of the most apparent is the difference in the propagation and utilization of electrical power. Since electricity is a force that is measured based on voltage and frequency, one would think that a device which works in a certain region would do the same when plugged into a power socket across the world.
