Where can I buy a power converter/adapter in Wien, Vienna, Austria for US appliances?
I am a study abroad student in Austria for 4 weeks, and am 2 days in.
Unfortunately, my power converter can't reach into the sockets that are inlaid in the wall, so I need another kind that can be used for laptops etc.
I'm near the University, so if someone could give me any leads I'd appreciate it!

My director has no clue, as this is his first time in Austria as well I believe.
I will try a supermarket. Are there any "Best Buy" or electronics stores that might have them?
tarvau is not quite correct: most phones, laptops, etc. will work on 220 and 110. they automatically switch over, or have a setting you must change (older models)!
The adapter you should find in any radio/electronics shop or if all fails, at the Vienna Airport !! Usually they come in kits with world-wide suitable plugs.
