What needs a travel adapter and what doesnt'?
Going from American to Japan for a month. I'm going to need to charge my Sonicare Toothbrush, use my hairdryer, charge my laptop and a video camera.
What will need a travel adapter? I assume the laptop, but what about the toothbrush? If it needs one, and so does the hairdryer I'd probably split it between the two- I won't be charging the toothbrush 24/7 anyway.
Thanks!
Anything you're going to plug into a wall socket needs an adapter. The shape of the plugs will be different so you will not be able to physically plug something in without one.
Have you ever seen that commercial with the gnome who solves 'travel myths' and he tries to plug something in and gets electrocuted and thrown across the room? You don't want that to happen to you.
