Dog Bone Wooly

Dog Bone Wooly
I hear mackrels will make a dull coat look healthier and shinier? Is this true?

I heard feeding your dog some types of fish will make its coat shinier and healthier. I have a 9 week old yorkie, and she has the wooly coat not the silky but I know her coat could be shinier and healthier still . What types of things should I feed her to achieve this? The fish that stuck in my head was mackrel. Should I buy the ones in the can and pick the bones out or leave them in there? What are other thing I could feed her?

Fish has a lot of omega-3 fatty acids that do help with coat condition. Mackeral is good, or Salmon. Or you could even just buy omega-3s or fish oil and put it in her food. Pick the bones out if you are going to give whole fish, specially if it is cooked fish, if not then you can leave the bones.
