Question about deep cycle batteries?
I was just given 4 6volt lead acid golf cart batteries. The only designation on the things is a 2 inch sticker with L7 printed in large letters. Ive searched google without luck and am hoping someone can help me identify the capacity of these batteries.

Why don't you find a "Batteries Plus" store, and ask them. They probably can find a replacement part number if you tell them the physical dimensions, and what kind of terminals, and where the terminals are located (e.g., top or side). It might help if you could also tell them the weight.
If you don't want to do that, there's plenty of vendors who sell golf cart batteries on the web. Google "golf cart batteries",. then look at the pictures and the specs until you find one that looks like yours.
Chances are, if the voltage is the same, and the type is the same (AGM, vs. Gel, vs. flooded) and the weight is in the same ballpark, then the capacity will be about the same. They're all pretty much using the same technology.
