Job title on business card?
Hi,
Is appropriate to put two job titles on a business card? I'm the Managing Director of my own limited Company in UK but is working as an IT contractor through my company. I was thinking of using something like Managing Director / System consultant as a job title. Is this confusing or maybe even inappropriate? Maybe business cards should only have one title and nothing more. In that case I'm better of producing two sets of cards, one as a Managing Director and another one as a System consultant.

Your options are no title or two separate cards.
Go with no title if...
Most of the people you'll give your card to know what you're doing, or if they don't really need to know your title. This is what I've done. My company name is descriptive of the line of work I'm in. I wear several different hats, but in each instance (e.g., working with consulting clients, meeting end-consumers) they generally know what I do and don't need a specific title.
Go with two cards if...
you'll be handing them out to people you won't interact with much, and who need to know who you are. So if you go to trade shows where a card recipient is only likely to call back the MD, then you need MD cards. Or if you want to impress the ladies. =)
